When it comes to home remedies for dandruff there are literally thousands of different combinations of natural oils that can create them, some work wonders, some don't work at all so I'm going to give you a quick guide on my personal favourites.

Fenugreek seeds are a great dandruff home remedy, in fact they may be one of the best there is due to their "secretness". Simply get two tablespoons of the seeds and soak them overnight in water, then in the morning grind them so they appear as a paste. Then put the paste on your scalp in all the areas where the dandruff is in effect and wait about half an hour, then wash your hair thoroughly.

Then there is lime, get a teaspoon of lime and use it as the last rinse when washing your hair, a lot of people contest to the usefulness of this and it also leaves your hair smelling great.
Then there is green gram powder, simply wash your at least twice a week with two tablespoons of green gram, and for a even more effective treatment mix it with half a cup of curd (or yoghurt for you westerners).

Home remedies for dandruff are plentiful, but many people don't use them. They are healthy for your scalp and will leave your pocket full of extra dollars for those things you really want. Most anti-dandruff shampoos are full of nasty chemicals and will cost you a lot for a cure promise that may not come. In fact since dandruff is a natural process of the body there is no actual cure, it’s like trying to get a cure for your heart beating! So do what’s best for your health and go natural with home remedies for dandruff.
